Ian specialises in Child Care Law and Matrimonial Finance - Head of the Family Law Department and was formerly the Senior Partner of Kenningham Underwood Armstrong.

Ian sits as a Deputy District Judge and Recorder and is a member of the Law Society children panel and resolution. Ian also holds the Higher Courts Civil Advocacy qualification and adjudicates for approvals to the Legal services commission.

Ian is also a past President of Bradford Law Society.
