It is often remarked that the law fails to keep pace with technological developments and one area where disputes commonly arise is between software suppliers and their customers.

The roots of the problem often lie with the fact that the customer lacks the technical skills and knowledge to identify what they actually need and fail to appreciate what is being offered.
